I definitely thought he was. His mixtape was out for a long time, and it didn't gain any traction until like half a year, or even a year later, when it 'suddenly' just started spreading everywhere online.

definitely had my doubts. I remember when the tape drop, there wasn't ANY hype for it. Seemed very strange that a record would suddenly become popular after being overlooked for so long.
