You're just saying that because they are both dark skin, slick dribbling, brolic debo looking nikkas. You gotta take the L here brodie.

Aesthetically their games may look alike from a glance, but they play nothing alike. Mase was more in the point forward play initiator mold while Zion is an extremely aggressive offensive force. Defensively Mase was an enforcer and low block rebound gobbler, while Zion is more of a gambler and weakside and trailing shot blocker. Mason was never a high flyer or aggressive offensively. He had a nice mid range game but was basically the first Ben Simmons. He only made two (2!) 3 pointers in his entire career and never really shot beyond 18 feet.

Zion will average more PPG as a rookie than Mason's highest career season (16 PPG). That said I loved Mase as a Knick, my daddy played with him in AAU and high school and said that the Knicks handcuffed his game and we never got to see the real Anthony Mason in the NBA.
D. Rose said it best, the worst player on the team can give you 50

My whole family knows Mase, him and my cousin Dee were best friends in high school.

He told us in like 1996 that Brian Williams was gay lol. He took us to the locker room area at The Palace and me and my brother got a bunch of autographs.

Voshon Leonard too, him and Mase was real close wit mt my cousin (RIP)

Y’all don’t know how NBA comparisons work no two NBA players play exactly alike

I said Zion is in a class of his own athletically which is the main reason for their stylistic differences. You calling Mason the Ben Simmons of his era when he played in an era where players of his size didn’t take threes.

Zion will be a play initiator in his prime and will average 5-6 assists a night.

Zion gon have some weird stretches of games. I just don’t see him getting these easy baskets in the regular season. Still my money is on him to be ROTY. Can’t wait to see. Cop tickets for January 13 game in Detroit (hopefully he play)

You're not gonna see @Gil Scott-Heroin till he has a bad week
I don't actually mind his current Zion takes. He is right, the old ones were trash tho looking back at it. People have to be honest, for him to become GOAT level, he has to develop a jumper like MJ, Bron and others did. Just the way it is.

That Utah game put people on notice. If you put a small body on him he’s going to win down low and he’s way too fast for the 7 footers

I anticipate teams running zone concepts against him

Is that why I've been posting all preseason?
