What’s an all time great/classic video game you played but never beat?

DONKEY KONG SIXTY-fukkING-FOUR.

I wasn't able to beat that classic Donkey Kong mini-game, near the back end of the level.... and right after I found the perfect way to beat it online, the N64 broke because a dumbbell fell on it. Never got another chance after that.

It was one of my first games on PS1. I never beat “Syphon Filter” without using cheat codes for weapons, health, or to skip levels. I was too young to figure the shyt out. It was a great game, though.

I didn't even know it was possible to beat a Contra game

Took me 12 yrs to finally beat San Andreas

Streets of Rage 3 took me over 20 yrs to beat

Main game I haven't beat I still need to is Last Of Us and Infamous 2nd Son

But to answer the thread title, Sonic 2 would be the answer

Back in 94 I made it to the last boss with like 20 lives and lost all them shyts

Did not ever attempt to best that game again

Oh u can add Mario 2 for NES to that too
