For me its the opposite. What sigle malts do you reccomend?
Breh, if you enjoy the tannins, you have to start experimenting. So many fukking flavors breh. I found that for Scotch, I like the stuff that's real dark, that they finish in sherry casks. It's not cheap anymore but fukk if some of them haven't changed my life. GlenDronach 15 year revival is like, fukkkkkkk, heaven on earth to my tastebuds.I tasted a good single malt recently ... thinking about upgrading my stock.
For me its Classic Jazz - Migus, Parker, Davis ...On top of that a whiskey buzz gets you thinking about everything man.
Growing up, every Sunday morning was Charlie Parker, Wilson Picket, Van Morrison (yeah imma CAC) from my dad and to this day I get some whiskey in me alone and all I think about is some of these old 60/70 shyt.

Glenlivet 18 year is my go to single malt.
Also, I recommend you try Suntory Whiskey Toki for something different

They are all so different. Depends on what you like most. Think of Scotland as like college football conferences. You want to taste literally smoke in your mouth? Try anything from Islay region. Adrbeg, Lagavuilin, laphroaig etc. That shyt is made over peet moss and smiley as fukk, like campfires.
If your more of a Crown type, some personal favorites are Balvienee 12 year Doublewood and GlenDronach 12.

If you can find it, that shyt is like a 3 minute mouth work out. They distillery is not super well know and went out of business for a few years before it got bought. That 15 revival is probably closer to 19-21 year old for $100 and once it's off the shelf won't be found for another year or two. I fukking LOVE THAT shyt!!!!... have to try that ...

If you can find this at a booze store near you, it's legit out of print and will go up in value. It's crazy good if you like heavy coffee/chocolate and tobacco notes with minimal smoke.
