Idk about any other CC, but the one I went to was basically still high school with a few adults and mature teens sprinkled here and there. Matter of fact I almost fought some Haitian kid cause his bytch ass was throwing paper balls at the teacher like a fukk boy. shyt was so lame on his part. Like bruh just let this bytch talk and we'll leave in 45 minutes but of course he wants to look "cool." Only reason I ain't put my hands on him is cause he chilled out and I'm actually friends with his older brother. Wasn't even like the teacher was a bytch, she was cool as fukk

I wouldn't even call it 13th grade, more like the mall, if it had a school in there.... you got the people who just there to look fly, people just content with being there, people there just so they can get to somewhere higher up, old muhfukkas who just there to be around people, kids who swear that this makes them grown up and such.

You're actually winning a whole lot more when it comes to community college.

Federal grants is enough to pay a semester. Where as you need federal grants + student loans to pay for a semester at a university.

Lets do the math.

It cost me no more than $300 a semester at a community college. I received $2,000 of federal grant money.

$2,000 - $300 = $1,700 in my pocket of free money.:blessed::banderas:
:wow:This!! That was the situation every semester with me.

:ohhh: I've always wondered how the refund check situation at a 4-year college compared.

I personally hated it. Too many people who were considerably older than me (I went straight out of high school), too many ugly hoes, and the fine ones already had a man (at least that's what they told me :mjcry:). The courses weren't particularly hard, so being able to transfer with that 3.5+ and not having that Sallie Mae like so many of my friends that went to a university right off that bat was nice. It's bittersweet really.

It feels just like a uni without all the distractions and school spirit.

Theres no sports teams, people aren't really looking to socialize, and everyone is in the mindset of I'm here for now but this is where I'm going. If you aren't a social person, CC can be challenging. Not because you wont meet ppl at cc, but because there's no similar attatchment like at college.

At the Uni I attended, socially it was much harder since you gotta fit in and do ish you don't particularlly like to meet and interact. But much easier int he sense that once you become a familar face yyou will go from not knowing a person to knowing their whole circle real quick.

So far, I've met ppl at CC and it's cool. But it's on a one-on-one level. But I still see my old uni friends, and friends I know from back in the day so its not too bad.

Also, CC they change their expectation of you depending on where you are. I've had classes where assignments get moved up or back all the time, because of class discussions that are too long. At the Uni level, once they had you that syllabus you better stay on top of it.

Don't sound that bad...

13th grade minus the leash. You definitely won't have that university feel, but that's irrelevant in the long run. Just go for the two years, pull out a 3.5+ and apply smartly for scholarships. Save yourself a shyt ton of money. If I hadn't gotten a great scholarship out of high school, I would've did my two years at CC and cut costs.
In reality this is the real plan...
