Whats considered Nerdy in the black community? Cuz I don't fukking know

So people that are book smart and have swag are what? Cause they are usually mutually exclusive in the high school characterization. [Grew up on "Saved by the Bell" and other high school dramas ]

So then how is a nerd different from a geek?

technically,

nerdy is a book smart thick rimmed glasses 4.0 GPA and gets no p*ssy cause hes always alone/studying/playing video games.

geek isnt necessarily booksmart but hes awkward has a donkey laugh and terrible acne. Just all around swagless.

(technically were saying geek, but I think its safe to assume they mean they dont want a geeky dude)

Well I was mainly just trying to bring black examples up to speak to the thread. I don't, however, think that all people have the same crab in a barrel mentality that we do. I think whites overall are more willing to help/defend other whites than blacks, we tend to be more judgmental of our own than other cultures (just from my observation overall. I know many of us are very supportive). When I look at stereotypes of Asian Americans, it is not "corny" to be smart/intelligent/hard working etc. Whereas in our community there are large pockets of people where those traits make you a "lame"

To speak to your point about bullies, kids are dumb. I was more talking about adults than high school, etc. Even in high school though, in our culture we have "roasting sessions" and things like that where the whole purpose is to belittle each other. Not saying I didn't do it, but it seems more engrained in blacks than other races.

speak for yourself in african homes if you don't bring anything less than A be prepared for your 'rents to tell you my own mom threatened to kick me out the house for not having a 3.0 gpa (still stuck at a 2.8 but i might make it this semester , ECE life why you gotta do me like this )

take a fukking look at this. you nikkas on here are grown, yet you still dont understand how this woman shyt works? talking bout watching anime, reading etc. if you're ugly what ever you do will be seen as creepy, weird, or different period. It shouldn't be like that, but it is. if a woman(^^ chick i qouted as an example) thinks your "cute" it will be seen as cute, Edgy, and different( in a good way). For instance i told a chick i didn't want to go out with her that night because i was watching a Starcraft ll tournament on twitch. she hit me with the "whats that? is it like dungeons and dragons".really?i told her come over and find out. long story short she came over and watched the shyt with me. was she bored, maybe? fukk if i cared, i told her she could leave if she wanted. The serial killer part is a very big reach. So is the getting awy with anything part.

It's more like "If you're attractive to that person (& if they like you), they will be more likely to accept your nerdiness, weirdness & other quirks". That goes for both genders.
