I know he ain't great and all but I think he can be a decent QB if he played for a competent franchise/coach. The way Gruden keeps talking negative about him his Redskins days are over.

I think he would succeed back in Texas with the Texans where the criticism isn't gonna be as harsh and they already have a good defense so he doesn't need to do everything. Or maybe the Seahawks plan B if they don't wanna break the bank for Russel Dilfer.

I know they expire at the same time but if his demands are way to high they could trade him for RG3 and ask for something on the side. RG3 isn't gonna command as much as Russel will.

If what people are saying is remotely true, there are high school QBs with better mechanics than him. That one read option at Baylor stunted his growth. Shanahan, trying to save his job, stunted his growth. Just had him out there playing backyard football. That never lasts long in the NFL.
