As long as he doesn't stay with the knicks, I don't give a fukk where he goes. His best chance to win a ring would obviously be with the warriors, spurs or cavs. But he would have to come off the bench for all 3. But the best place for him to play would be with minny, but no way he starts over rubio

Rose can only come off the bench now. He is a scoring PG who can get to the rim but can't spread the floor nor make plays where he is the starting guard.

This last stint with the Knicks proved that he hasn't realized the extent to which his injuries have brought down his play style. A healthy DRose would've been Kyrie with athleticism. This injured version is just a guy that can go and get some points for himself without impacting the overall game.

It's a shame bc he was one of my favorite players. But DRose unfortunately is a role player at best on a contender.

Derrick Rose was expected to increase his value with a fresh start. The former MVP had his highest field goal percentage since his second year in the league and his highest points per game average since 2011-12. However, he suffered a knee injury at the end of the season and underwent his fourth knee surgery before turning 30.

Now he’s back to that injury-prone label that makes it difficult for any player to ever come back from. At one point in the season, it was reported he was thinking about a max deal. Now NBA executives are saying his market value has dropped over $10 million.

Via Marc Berman of The New York Post:

According to league executives, because of his latest surgery, Rose’s market value likely dropped to the $10 million-$12 million range — above the new full mid-level exception of $8.5 million. The Timberwolves could have as much as $18 million in cap room, but Thibodeau wants to use it on at least two free agents.

Sign with the Warriors for cheap , Get paid next year :skip:

If he takes a vet min for warriors, he will never see 10mill again

His best bet is a Shaun Livingston role, 17 minutes a night as a burst of offense off the bench.

dudes court vision was terrible last year, just a lack of awareness on both sides. not sure if it was because of the lack of an actual offseason due to the court situation + being on a new team or if that's just what he is now.

It's that low? Damn know wonder San Antonio has been in talks to get him. :ohhh: They an get him without compromising the rest of the team
Perfect fit on the spurs. Y'all gone cover up his defense and shooting strugles.

If not spurs then pelicans would be lit. Just trade jrue to the knicks for lee. That way pelicans get a shooter next to the pr of rose and davis/cousins.
