Every Hispanic-style fried chicken I’ve ever eaten wasn’t crispy enough, but I’ve only had it from Cubans and Mexicans. By the way, aren’t Puerto Ricans and Dominicans technically Black?

The food is basically, i remember expecting to get tacos at a puerto rican place, but instead finding out they served beans and rice and fried plantains.

Sounds exactly like Cuban food too. Disclaimer, I did visit Puerto Rico but only for a short time and I didn’t try much of the native food.

As far as I can tell fry chicken isn’t an option in most Mexican restaurants (correct me if I’m wrong) but every chicken spot run by Mexicans is WOAT to me.

i've tried a bunch of kfc overseas

america's best chicken shacks in any big city> kfc overseas > kfc in america

most of these countries dont have native fried chicken recipes so theres more demand for the limited options

Was in Jamaica in January and looked into getting KFC after some dude at the bar hyped it up.
Passed when I looked up the menu, the way they priced/packaged the offerings seemed off and made me wonder how long lines of local jamaicans could afford that shyt. I think it was like $15 (USD) for some weird combination of chicken like 3 wings and a thigh type shyt. Maybe that was just cause it was near a resort but still
