What's going on with Durant?

The Warriors only need Durant to beat LeBron, and maybe for Durant's reliable midrange jumper to get a scoring drive started. They can destroy any non-LeBron team with just Steph and Klay and they proved that already. But, they destroyed their bench to get KD so they stuck with this current team no matter what. They do need to figure out how to upgrade their bench. I don't know how they'll do it though.

That's the thing though, they shouldn't have lost game 4 and 5. they only lost those two games because durant kept chucking and missing.

He has demonstrated the ability to shoot his team out of a series before, multiple times at okc actually. Memphis and warriors series come to mind and he can do it again.

In order for steph and klay to win key series in this scenario , they would need to take most of the shot, something that won't happen with a teammate like durant that chucks religously

Listen,nobody can stop Durant or Lebron from scoring...They certainly can't stop each other from scoring...However.Lebron is mentally tougher,and a more well rounded offensive player than Durant....If Lebron and Durant switched teams,Cleveland would've gotten knocked out in the 1st rd...GS would've already advanced to the finals.

What Memphis series

They beat Memphis like 3/4 times and only lost once, and that was the year Westbrook got hurt in the playoffs and Ibaka was playing hurt. KD was averaging 29 PPG and his 2nd and 3rd options was Kevin Martin and Reggie Jackson

He beat Harden and the Rockets with that trash ass supporting cast

If we're honest whole Warriors dynamic changed when he got there. It worked last year because no other team had a matching recipe but this year these stretches where the ball moves less is hurting them. Ironically bringing in a player that can break down defenses/shoot over them in Durant has led to these stretches where the ball stops, which is where GS gets in trouble.

And obviously the Rockets get props for having long-armed and physical defenders, so those two things that Durant does well are harder to do.

KD had no pressure in last year's finals because Cleveland wasn't a threat, so he was able to play loose and if he fukked up Curry and Klay were there to cover his ass.

He's actually having to play well now and he's the same old choker he's always been
