Having to adjust to having both Hayward and Kyrie - one of those 2 won't be back next season.

That seems to be the common factor but it’s weird for a team to get a superstar back and get worse overall. You would think kyries offense would offset his bad defense. Especially from the top defensive team last year.

I was worried about that coming in seeing as everyone had to readjust to Kylie being back.
Theyre not as good as people thought....Kyrie is going to be the only all star on that team this year....Horfords spot been taken by Ibaka...

Thats what I was thinking. It must be a chemistry issue at this point. Because as of now I don’t see them getting close to the ecf
There defense has been leaking in big games....against the Raptors,Blazers,Nuggets they couldnt get stops.
Kyrie coming off knee surgery - did not have his typical summer
Gordon coming off ankle surgery and lengthy rehab - did not have his typical summer
4 starters wanting the ball in their hands - not enough basketballs
they gotta make a lineup change, maybe Smart comes in and Brown becomes 6th man. Hayward seems like an odd pairing. But unless they are willing to sacrifice, they are going to keep fluctuating

You are looking for someone or people to blame but the reality is right now, the Celtics are not that good or as good as people believed.

They don’t have a set identity. Last year the ball movement and team defense was much better and they’re still learning to play together with Hayward And Kyrie .Morris needs to start at the 4. Hayward should embrace a 6th man role or rotate Brown and yes Tatum off the bench and see which one of the 3 work best coming off the bench.
