Yeah. This tatt shhyt is getin outta hand. I see some of these cats like 16-21 tatted up like wiz and I'm like, I hope there are trust fund kids, future nba/nfl stars or aspiring tattoo artists. Bcuz havin your entire arms sleeved up, hands and neck is not a good look at 45 yrs old. I personally know OGz that have been in and out the pen for their entire lives, them cats are stupid prison tatted from the neck down and many of them tatted in the face. They tel me that they are looked at as animals and employment is impossible

ive worked at AT&T, Honda, Chase and now Verizon (trying to go back to chase though)

tell ya thug homie. go back and apply again. cause i'm looking at these kids tatted up like jailbirds getting jobs. no lie. its unbelievable. on one hand i'm happy for me. cause its like the old braids look. its just a look why hate on a look. if i can do the job.

but to put permanent ink on you just for a little fashion statement is foolish no matter how you try to spin it.

actually these youngins with the ridiculous tats are getting hired today. more and more i'm down in the cafe and i see a young or old dude. tatted up all up the arms. and they have short sleeves on. that hiding stuff aint even necessary any longer it seems. and the ladies dont even care. all the way up the cleavage to the neck. all over the arms, not just shoulders where its covered either. all on the leg(showing em) and the feet. making sure to where those shoes so the whole world can see it. but i'll atleast give the chicks props at my job. atleast they have their OWN tats. not the usual asian writing, stars, some roses, a butterfly or two, crap.

yeah i see them at places like starbucks. what remains to be seen is if they'll be hired in a corparate setting where most companies are trying to project a certain image. i seriously doubt it...

back in the day when i was a youngin. you couldnt get a Mcdonalds job with a tat showing. wasnt going to happen. you had to have that covered up before yo u walked in for the interview. now they dont even care anymore cause EVERYONE is doing it. everyone being old heads are adding on that were in love with tats. then you have the old heads that dont want to let the youngins have their thing that want to rock skinny jeans at 40 and air yeezy's. so they are extra tatted up with new tats as if they're 21 or something. So you have both sides coming in tatted up. and i'm telling you these girls/ladies are doing the most. they got tats all over the place. and dont let it be a cute asian chick. i've seen a million times. she has colored tats all up and down her body that you can clearly see. and if you couldnt see them she makes sure she wears something so you can. THEY DONT CARE anymore. and i guess the folks hiring are like forget it. we lost this battle. just hire em.
