which album do you think jay wasn't completely sure of himself and was trying too hard to be accepted by either the mainstream and/or the hardcore rap fanbase? basically the album where you don't buy into all his arrogance and it just sounds false and insincere to you?
i'm gonna go against the grain and say reasonable doubt
yes in many ways it was his best album but I feel he was still trying to find his footing and jumped on the mafioso bandwagon because it was hot at the time.
