:deadrose: at Nas stans voting Bp2...which ironically was one of Jay's highest points lyrically...but they choose it cuz they wannna give NasLost some kind of merit to Jay's "insecurities" :childplease:

U disgusting doodoo smellin Nas stans make me sick :scusthov:
Son..lyrically Black Album>>>>>both Blueprints...BP2 he bit the most rhymes of other rappers of all the album's up until that point..he was lyrically good money but the album was all over the place...he didn't come off as confident as he has with any album before or after it...

He definitely seemed to lose all of that aggressive confidence in his delivery for BP2, and he hasn't really got it back since. I enjoy most of BP2, but that's my answer.

For me, it's The Black Album. It was like a lot of that album was made to make the statement "You'll appreciate me more in my absence". Like he was going to retire to make people view him as the GOAT. Blueprint 2 comes close, but that album was more like damage control as a result of the aftermath of the beef. A lot of that album was like rebuttles to some of the claims Nas made on "Ether". For example, Nas said "You're only concerned with dissin' women" and Jay's first two singles were targeted towards females ("'03 Bonnie and Clyde" and "Excuse Me Miss"). Both songs were in contrast to the misogynist Jay from "Big Pimpin", "Who You Wit", "Is That Your Chick" and "Hey Papi". Then there was the title track from BP2 which was basically a concession letter to Hot 97 saying Nas was the victor in the battle. There's "A Dream" plays on the claim where Nas said "How much of Biggie's rhymes is gon' come out your fat lips".

BP2. It was almost embarrassing hearing a grown man leak out his hurt feelings over the course of an entire album.... A DOUBLE ALBUM at that...

I imagine Jay spent the entirety of the BP2 recording sessions with the permanent  face in the booth

Outside of BP2 the titile track I don't recall Jay sounding insecure throughout that entire album.

I would say TBA simply because he felt the hip hop would collapse without him. Like he wanted us to beg him to stay.

A Dream & Some People Hate specifically...

TBA had the right mixture of insecurity, confession, and bravado. TBA was really when Hov got his swagger back, he didn't sound like he was whining or trying to force you to except that he's a great guy on TBA. It was just the way it was....

Dude probably put on his man diaper and took a nap straight after finishing, it must be tiring faking being 18 in your 90s :scusthov:

Tough question.

Short answer: KC. While there were moments of sheer insecurity and scapegoating on BP2, KC was by and large a "poor me"-fest

I voted KC, cuz he was just so desperate to show people he was on some "grown man" shyt despite being almost 40 when the album dropped. then 3 years later on BP3 he's autotuning and wearing timbs and tight jeans.
Its blue print 2 for me but kingdom come is a close second.

30 is the new 20... :aicmon:

And he was like 38 when that dropped.... :snoop:
