I'm asking because on Facebook someone shared a post saying that owning a house or living in an apartment with no car is dumb to them
.
I've never understood why people would prioritize a car over having a home/apartment in their name. I mean, living in your car isn't a flex; technically, you're homeless, and low-key, bum status. If you own a home or rent an apartment, sure, you might not have a car, but public transportation, ride share apps, bikes, and even the option of walking are always available.
Unless you're living with someone, and not paying bills, etc, I could see why you'd probably say car because everything else, as far as living, is covered.
Although I own a car, sometimes I don't drive, and you know, personally, I've never thought I was too good to be seen riding the bus, walking on my own two feet, or sometimes using Uber/Lyft. I feel like people who think this way have their priorities mixed up, too busy worrying about perception and flexing.
I've seen dudes prioritize a car over a crib because they think having no ride hurts their chances of getting women, but not understanding that being a grown man with no home of your own, definitely ain't impressing the ladies either yet some insist the car is more important. What y'all think about this?
