I'm asking because on Facebook someone shared a post saying that owning a house or living in an apartment with no car is dumb to them :gucci:.

I've never understood why people would prioritize a car over having a home/apartment in their name. I mean, living in your car isn't a flex; technically, you're homeless, and low-key, bum status. If you own a home or rent an apartment, sure, you might not have a car, but public transportation, ride share apps, bikes, and even the option of walking are always available.

Unless you're living with someone, and not paying bills, etc, I could see why you'd probably say car because everything else, as far as living, is covered.

Although I own a car, sometimes I don't drive, and you know, personally, I've never thought I was too good to be seen riding the bus, walking on my own two feet, or sometimes using Uber/Lyft. I feel like people who think this way have their priorities mixed up, too busy worrying about perception and flexing.

I've seen dudes prioritize a car over a crib because they think having no ride hurts their chances of getting women, but not understanding that being a grown man with no home of your own, definitely ain't impressing the ladies either yet some insist the car is more important. What y'all think about this?

If you live in an urban center in the north east, definitely having a roof, as there's a myriad of ways to get around without a car. I dunno about the rest of the country tho, cause you need to get to work and the way they built up the rest of the US is so that you're probably not going to be living close enough to your job to be able to walk

They did that so black people couldn't travel to other places.

If u own your house u don't even need a job u can live off your moneys interest if u prepared properly what kinda question is this :mjlol:

Nah, give me a brand new sports car with a $600 monthly payment and 300 a month insurance so I can have to drive to work everyday and have my car shining in the employee parking lot :mjlol:

Public transportation+uber/Lyft+Amazon+insta cart+door dash means we not living in the 1990s anymore but I swear so many are still operating off 1995 logic.

Pick up a rental for dates and dont let her know it's a rental. Matter of fact sweet lady I'm an engineer for nasa I design satellites :mjlol:i don't have to tell these women where I live what I do for work or what I drive

I do understand a lot of people nowadays are bourgeois and think they better than the bus, and then the people that are scared of everyone, that's an issue too but no one wants to admit they have cowardly tendencies

All these 50/60/70 yr olds going into work to pay for a fukking car and all they do is drive to medical appointments and a local diner on Saturdays :mjlol:

Unless I'm hauling supplies fukk a car :mjlol:

Depends on where you live.

I'm in NYC and you can survive without a car easily. If you live somewhere down South, in like Arkansas, then obviously a car would be more important.
