You're joking right? Chicago is one of the biggest cities in the country. Chicago has everything GTA would want in a city

Violence ( Westside and Southside Chicago)
Corruption ( Lisa Madigan and her father, plus it's known for corruption)
Landmarks ( Willis tower)

Me personally, I don't think it would work...plus they'd probably just make the story some generic East End cac gangster bullshyt.

Plus like what the guy a few replies above said, the whole point of GTA is a group of brits taking the piss out of American culture. Would defeat the purpose setting it outside of America.

I think it would be good to set the game in a lesser known American city. Same way how they could have set The Wire in a more mainstream US city like LA or NY, but they opted for the lesser known Baltimore and look ho popular it was.

Also, I've always wanted to see some sort of prison gameplay. Everytime theres a jail in a GTA game it's pretty much just a prop for the game world. There could be a section of the game where you get sent to jail which opens up a strand of missions within the prison. Kinda like what Mafia 2 done but more in depth.

you ever played "the chronicles of riddikk escape from butcher bay"? The prison element for that game was so dope like a future OZ.

I was kind of sad when you finally have to escape to continue on with the story

as for a New GTA, I wish they would bring back "fight style gyms" like they had in GTA SA... but improve on it... Boxing gyms,Tae kwon do, Brazilian jiu jitsu,wrestling etc..whatever style you want to learn,and have specific moves for each one. Can learn up to a certain number of styles and just free flow to each one, kinda like a better version of what they had in True Crime New York.

I think they should set the game in texas and have three cities(houston, dallas, san antonio) like they did in san andreas.

Each city could have its own character and storyline

I've played Online a few times. But I realised it was aimed at people under the age of 18 so I never really touched it again.

Well I'm over 18 and I have a good time playing it but I'm in a crew with real life friends.

Once you find the right people to play with you can't go wrong.
Now if you just dolo spawning on the street. It might not be too much fun for you.
I don't understand how getting money buying clothes houses cars and killing people is for people under 18

They should have 3 cities but this time 1 American city where u play as pawg in new York then you travel to either Mexico or Jamaica and play as the plug them you can travel to London or Paris. Then dlc is you play as isis

Im embarrassed playing these games now as an adult. The stories are poorly written and humour is for 13 year olds. I want a well written game that doestn rely on childish shyt.

They make Nintendo games look like adult content with how low brow they are.

Also much better mission design. I was bored out of my mind on anything but heists in v.
