you are basically asking how can they build a team to beat the warriors. they need to get rid of thompsons contract but no one will want him for that price.

they need to get more athletic up front. melo doesnt help there. like ive said i dont think its possible for any team to acquire that much talent. the league already fukked up letting happen once, but now it cant even happen again without guys taking major pay cuts which aint happening

I haven't really thought it through to be frank but how does joining the Lakers and moving to the Western Conference really get him closer to another ring?

I mean Bron got like what? 2-3 years left playing at an elite level unless he drastically changes his game
If Lebron goes there, PG is going there..Lakers would probably have to trade other young pieces to get another star and they go from there. I just dont see Lebron leaving Cavaliers again, dude will just give more fuel to the critics and I dont think he wants to deal with it. Going to the NBA Finals for the next 3-4 years and improving your stats is a better option. And you never know with injuries

It'll be interesting what Lebron does because he had the perfect storybook narrative coming back to Cleveland and last year was the perfect happily ever after closure to his tale, if this shyt was a movie. But it's not a movie, and he's about to be 33 with the final years of his NBA career being judged harshly on his final ring count, as a reflection of his place in history. He knows he needs more than 3.

So it's either can the Cavs find a route that could improve their roster for the Warriors or if not, it comes down to whether Lebron would bounce from Cleveland again, and what his final master plan would be.

I was thinking about this the other day. League is pretty much GS's the next 3-4 years if the core stays the way it is.

If Lebron stays East, he's just going to keep getting served by that team as he gets older. Those 16+ extra games to step into what he stepped into tonight at this stage of his career is not ideal.

I really have no idea what he could do. Maybe join the Spurs, maybe even contemplate retirement sooner than later.

I wouldn't be shocked if he does leave for LA, this Cavs roster is in cap hell.

Lebron the gm failed Lebron the player

He got all these guys overpriced deals

Truth is though there is nothing the Cavs could do to catch the Warriors

They'd need to add another top 10 player in the league which is impossible and I'm still not sure they'd be as good

He and D-Will literally have been the biggest mid season disappoints I remember a contender signing in quite some time.
Either they just can't play with Lebron or they really aren't good enough to play in the NBA anymore.
Korver was pretty good for them in the season, shot 49% from 3 in the RS as a Cav. In the playoffs he's struggle but if you know his history he's always been iffy there, he's also a defensive liability.

D-Will though? He's just been awful :scust:
