I feel like NWA brought so much fukking negativity to hip hop, but at the same time it was necessary. studio gangsters, but caused one of the big seismic events in hip hop; predicted the LA riots; was a soundtrack to the fukking LA riots; forced the white house to pay attention to this gangsta rap shyt

I suggest U go and listen again.... they were mostly rapping about L.A. from the 60s up until that point listen to a song like Dopeman or Gangsta Gangsta Cube tellin u about what a dopeman is and what gangsta's do, and then Eazy- E comes on and backs up the story and in a lot of their material they end up dead or in Jail. But that NWA tree is a big sprawling one think about how many rappers and crews u can trace directly to them
