Complete control of how you level up your character, from the basic (Barbarian build) to the complex (MageTank Werewolf)...its all handled very well. And when you reach the pinnacle of your powers (Tree), you feel completely OP. I went for a Sword and Board build on PS3....dear god was it awesome just watching things slow down as they perform their strong attacks. I could easily wrap around and destroy. Then there was shield bash stunning and knocking weapons out of enemy hands....I felt unstoppable early on, yet I had to play smart.
Many games don't do this, they just throw you an OP move out the gate (FF15's teleport/Evade) and you feel like your too OP even for small fry enemies. Then there's the story, which delivers harder than Fallout 5*. There's something about beating ancestral ghosts and archaic dragons, that will never get old.
Also, dem mods.
