I love Uber. It's just really convenient. They usually get to wherever you are within 10 minutes, you know who is driving and what kind of car they have, you don't have to worry about paying them when the rides over because it's all connected to your credit card and it's cheaper than a cab.
You have a higher chance of them being a small time weed dealer trying to make ends meet that just so happens to have some on them and they allow you to take a couple pulls.. makes it that much more heart breaking when you run out without paying
Is there a standard rate or does it vary depending on the driver?
I got a Lyft ride from the airport to my house for $6.75, shyt would've cost me like $15+ if I took a cab. The cab lobby is trying their damnedest to get Uber and Lyft banned and over-regulated so they can hold on to their outdated business model.
There's a reason why a new term among companies is 'getting Ubered' - basically means getting replaced by a newer company or service that leaves the old one obsolete.
