Yeah but there's different departments within each organization. You just got to get your foot in the door. They have sales, events, restaurants, accounting..all offer entry level (no college) positions that you can work your way up from....the best thing you can do is jump around in all departments, learn how a hotel work. Then there's a corporate side to it as well that really laid back. Even if you got on as an admin you'll be working with a ton of hoes. lol
i thought u meant in the military

I know a dude in Atlanta that started a business cleaning carpets. He advertises on Groupon and even has some clients out of town. He's coming over to crib next week to clean my carpets. His website sucks so I'm gonna offer to see if he wants help updating it.

I know another dude who started a business being a mobile mechanic. You call him and he'll meet you where you're at and fix whatever problems you got (change oil, breaks, replace tires, troubleshoot engine issues, etc).

There's a million ways to make money. nikkas gotta stop thinking starting a business means starting the next Google. Just be a hustler and you can make money.

I agree with you. I said that because people on here throw around that term like it's easy and this is is coming from somebody who wants to start their own business one day. The problem on here is to many people want to look at the positive side only ( be your own boss, make your own schedule, take a vacation when you want ) they over look all of the hard work it takes to get there, the old saying " If it was easy everybody would do it" is so true.

I've seen nikkas come on here and say I'm dead broke, can't pay my bills etc and somebody will swoop in and say start your own business. How are you suppose to start your own business and you can't even pay your bills by Friday? Dudes on here are starting to push that term like a pyramid scheme.lol. My brother took over my fathers cleaning business doing what you described in your post, nobody wants to talk about how he's working 7 days a week and wants to take a vacation..

That's my only grip, stop pushing just the dream side of it.

Around 5 grand a month and some months 6 grand when he cleans a church. Overall I think a little more because my cousin does some places for him. He's trying to find a way to have his weekends free by cutting out some places :snoop:

That's not really true either breh. I went to the mall yesterday and saw this dude who setup a sneaker cleaning service. Dude had a little line of dudes wanting to get their Jays cleaned.

When I was a freshman I met a student my age who had him a little lawn care service. I met him because I used to sell software to dudes on campus and he need a copy of Quicken.

A job isn't something you necessarily have to ask for, it can be something you create :ehh:
ok true anyone can start a low skill business. i have nothing against people mowing lawns or cleaning shoes to make a buck. good luck competing with the mexicans/other immigrants who will be willing to do it for 1/3 the price for the rest of your life though.

Vocational skills electrician , mechanic just a few

This, especially mechanic. My main thing is music, but obviously you need money to fund you. So in September, I wanna do the Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic course. That's about a year long. And then maybe if it's a good idea to, I'll do the Automotive Technician-Certificate course which is also a year long. That's about two years for two courses only, and you don't even have to do it back-to-back. Plus I like working with my hands and like cars, so it works for me. :yeshrug:

-Rental/leasing agencies for apartment complexes. They'll give on the job training and hourly pay can range from 15-18 an hour +commission bonuses for new leases you close.
Also get rent reduction if u live on site!

-US postal system- I know people who retired from the postal system no student loans and make bank!

-School BMTs ($17 per hour) these are school behavior personnel. Escort bad ass lil Johnny to the principal's office, monitor the school hallways during class time. Talk lil Tomeka out of fighting La-Shia (pronounced La DASH shee a friggin hood names!).

-Apprentice with auto mechanic shops. Companies will pay for training and certs!

-Teacher assistants and group home specialists. Always jobs in edumacation.

Is that revenue or profits? Is it just him doing the work?

There's competition everywhere though. And if there's tons of competition that just means the market is large enough to sustain that many people :ehh:

But at the end of the day, there's opportunities out there breh you just have to get off your ass and go for it.

nah i don't disagree with that at all and if you're not making shyt then a low skill business might be an alternative.

there's less immigrant competition on the skilled labor market though. which means your wage will be higher. that's all i'm saying.

On the real tho, lots of people are straight up wasting their time in college:wow:

Like ....they're just there... You know what I mean? No future, no direction, just taking straight up BS courses to pass the time. By the time they realize they're not college material they are thousands of dollars in debt in no better position then when they left high school. It's if not for you it's best to get out as early as you can. This country if filled with tons of people who have college credits but no degree to show for it
