Most of the folk I know that switch to a different language and would get caught in situations like you described is people that ain't got English as a primary language and even though they speak it well enough to be understood, especially if you knew 'em for a while, the person on the other end more than likely ain't a native speaker so, that's to be expected.

Loud phone conversations of any sort though, I'm against, especially if you can't use a personal voice or stop from getting all up in arms animated over whatever the fukk the calls is.
