A lot of this stuff y'all mention are things that a parent should teach their kids. School is nkt a substitute for parenting.

My family taught me about financial literacy as well as many things that make up what's known as home ec

Lets be honest its a great idea but most kids wouldn’t pay attention at all breh

I feel that SHOULD be taught at home

Put it in a way that will make em pay attention. Kids already don't give a shyt about how many watermelon it takes to put fill a shopping cart

Teach em about investing. Tell em about what it takes to finance or lease their favorite desired cars or some shyt.

Coding, engineering, robotics, astronomy, Agriculture, architecture, really just more in depth topics
Honestly high schools should be closer to college versus grammar school
Or maybe I just missed out on going to one of them specialized high schools

This is an easy one man. Finance. Everything from credit how it works in addition to its utility; all the way up to equities and derivatives.

If this stuff was heavily focused on in schools, a LOT more people would make it out of poverty in their lifetimes. Not everyone, but many more. And because of the lensing effect of passing on to estates/inheritance, you could see families really build over generations.
