The real estate lady at some apartment complex I looked at down there was from NY :mjlol:

My sister and her husband and a bunch of people in their social moved down there from NY :pachaha: NY people love relocating to Florida and North Carolina in my experience.
That’s how Broward was, they all go running back after their first real hurricane

Being a Gentleman
I've lived in Tampa for the past 6 years.

It's a chill place to live and raise a family

Houses in the good neighborhoods are expensive, but there are more affordable options about 20 minutes south of the city in areas like Riverview and Apollo Beach.

Hot AF during the summer months (May - September). Basically only have 3 seasons here.

The city is spread out, but if you're looking for culture, then a short drive over the bridge to St. Pete will do you good. Otherwise, expect to be around a lot of cacs and tourists.

Same goes for the strip clubs. You got plenty of white girls - if that's your thing - and dark haired Latinas.

Don't expect to see a bunch of super thick black girls. I've seen some in Orlando, but barely any in Tampa. Women are just built differently and are in really good shape.

St. Pete is even more chill and laid back than Tampa. Like a MUCH much more smaller San Diego. Plus all the beaches are on that side.

I'd live in St. Pete if it weren't so far from my job.

It's a good proximity from other cities in FL. Orlando, Sarasota, and Fort Meyers are all within a 2 hour drive.

We've taken trips to the other coast (Delray Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood) and made it in about 3.5 hours.

I like it because of the good weather, I make better money than I did in GA, and I'm close to other major cities down here.

Tampa is definitely ratchet ass snow bunny central. Lotta trailer park ass bytches too.

I said it in another thread but Tampa is the butterface capital of America.

That might change as I travel more. But for now they got the title.

I went there as a kid and wanted to move there :mjlol:
Having visited a few times it’s not a bad place to live.

The housing prices are insane tho. I know people who bought homes there 10-15 years ago who say they paid like 150k and now it’s worth $450k
