Yeah, I'm gonna ignore that shytshow argument and add that I think it's hard for audiences to get hyped on those levels because it's rarely an organic thing anymore. It's either something done cynically, because you're about to be told you're a fukking nerd for liking it, or something where they're a little TOO in on the joke. My G I've literally said twice in this thread, including in the post YOU QUOTED IN THAT REPLY that I realize WWE isn't the only entity on TV who pipes in crowd noise.
If the thread got derailed its because you stuck on this weird ass obsession of trying to take the discussion off of WWE and create some argument that I never actually said. I'm trying to keep it on topic with WWE because this is a thread about WWE, in a wrestling forum, and my initial post you quoted was about WWE crowds not being as lit as they used to and WWE obviously piping noise. Nobody tryna talkbout USFL piping in crowd noise for an empty stadium. What relevance does that have to this discussion about WWE audiences?
goddammit, every company does it. WWE has been sweetening it since the 90s. It sounded like the crowd was going crazy at the 2021 world dodgeball classic, then they showed the crowd and nobody was there.
