Im adhd (was diagnosed with it at 7/8) and ive been prescribed everything from ritalin to concertra to adderall. Adderall is the best. Never been more productive in my life than when im on it. I could get a prescription right now if i wanted to.

Thats the thing. Because it is so heavily abused. Alot of people are faking adhd/add symptoms when they dont have it. So it makes it harder for those who do to get prescribed.This doesn't pertain to the OP, but......
75% of friends/acquaintances I know with kids are dying for some quack doctor to agree with them that their "special" child has some form of ADHD & needs meds like this......I'm just looking at them like.
Parents dying to get their kids on these "super meds" without thinking how it's gonna affect their mind/body in the long term.....these kids haven't even come close to developing mentally/physically yet you want to alter their brains/bodies with some bullshyt like that.
I might not have kids of my own, but if I did I know for sure I'd raise 'em with a lot more thought & perspective for their long-term health than these "quick-fix" parents do.
Plus it can be flipped for money...so thats another precaution doctors take before prescribing it....especially amongst college kids.
Me too. Never got the shyts on it or the shakes. Its not like coke.
It does make you not want to eat though.

But then you'll be wide awake at 3am thinking you just can't sleep.
Then you will take 2 at once to really boost yourself.
Then you'll act neurotic and obnoxious.
It's all downhill from there

Tried it once. Me and my boy in college were cramming for a Chemistry final, I've never been that focused in my life. Ended up passing the exam, but I couldn't sleep for about a day and a half. I remember feeling tired but my eyes couldn't close. And I'm normally a quiet guy that keeps to myself, but I remember being really chatty/talkative for those two days ... That come down was horrible though
