It's out of his price range

i know if he willing to go 50 more up to 400 he can get a one plus 3t on swappa. great value for the money. seems to check all his boxes too, large battery, 6 gb ram, fluid. also that dash charging is the truth. Worth the extra 50 bones

Lenovo, xiaomi,lg,oneplus and asus are legit and well known brands. Le eco and Vernee are relatively new and meizu is legit as well to an extent but not as popular as the other brands.

I will take your word for it, I know about LG, I once had the G3, had nothing but problems

Do any of these brands work on sprint and where can you purchase them...I current have a Nexus 6p and would like to keep buying pure Android phones

After doing some research unfortunately vernee does not support usa 3g and lte bands so thats a no go. The only other near stock android phone on the list, the oneplus 3, does support the us bands and should work on sprint easily. The other options are not stock androids. If you do Decide to go the non stock android route then lg g5,le eco pro 3, le max 2 , lenovo zuk z2 and z2 pro and Asus zenfone 3 works fine on sprint and all networks in the US.

Just bear in mind the leeco phones have no audio jack like the iphone 7 but do come with usb c to audio jack adapter and compatible earphones are available ,so if that's a dealbreaker for you then .....

The best place to buy the xiaomi, zuk, asus, oneplus 3 and le eco are gearbest.com, banggood.com,geekbuying.com or honorbuy.com. but gearbest are by far the most legit 3rd party retailer on that list.

Stay away from the G3. It held me down but it gets blazing hot (had to take it apart and install thermal tape), battery life is weak, and the screen is dim.

The G4 had boot loop issues.

I copped an Axon 7 mini for $199 and it's a steal. AMOLED screen so the colors pop. Dual front facing speakers that sound incredible and they're loud. If you watch a lot of video or play music it's perfect. Battery gets me through a day with moderately heavy use. The camera is only decent but I never take pictures. If you're gaming you might want to get the bigger Axon 7 but that's 399. The mini is currently 299 but bestbuy and Newegg always drop the price.

The thing with Android phones is there are new flagship level phones in the 399 range but if you're looking to spend 350 it's better to buy something 199-250 and keeping the extra money.

Other phones you should check for around 250:
Honor 8
Honor 6x
Moto G5
Moto X 2015
The G5 Plus > Axon 7 Mini

The G5 Plus > Axon 7 Mini

Depends on how you use your phone. For me I'm always using Chrome, Youtube, MxPlayer, Play Music, and Watch ESPN. I'm 90% web browsing and media so I wanted a phone with AMOLED and dual front facing speakers. That's basically just the 6P, Axon 7, and 7 mini.

For media consumption the mini crushes the G5. The G5 has better software and camera and is more for the standard user.

Maybe a consideration
Xiaomi's Mi 6 is the first phone from a Chinese manufacturer to be powered by Qualcomm's latest 10nm Snapdragon 835, and it offers 6GB of RAM, 64GB storage, dual cameras with a 12MP wide-angle lens and 12MP telephoto lens, and a 3350mAh battery, all for $360.
