In N Out, Shake Shack, Five Guys are cool, but not touching Smash Burger. End of the day Smash Burger took what Shake Shack did and made improvements to it.

The best though imo wrt to taste are Slater's 50/50 if you're going savage and Burger Lounge when you want something a little healthier (and grass fed). Only downside is they're not as convenient as regular fast food. There's The Hat for that.

edit: Haven't tried Habit Burger yet, been hearing great things about it though.
There’s a Smashburger not far from my crib but I never go there because they served us that at work for a meeting one time and I wasn’t impressed. I need to give it a fair shake tho because the burger wasn’t fresh and not how I would have ordered it. Next time I’m out that way I’m gonna give it another shot.

When I was young the place I'd get a burger from as a treat was PJ Clarks on 3rd ave and corner of e 55th nyc.

Outside of that i find any type of sit down bar has never disappointed.

I'm not a snob though. I love every burger I've ever had. Doesn't matter if it's Mcdonalds or fancy.

Best fast food burger = Jake's in Dallas. Get the jalapeño bottle cap burger with dbl meat/dbl cheese. Poppyseed bun >>>> all other burger buns.

Restaurant burger = Kona Grill at Northpark Mall. Years ago, they had a really good Wagyu beef burger. Might have been $14-ish but shyt was legit, especially for a sushi/Asian fusion joint

In N Out >> Whataburger on average but if you find the spots with good cooks, WB is better

Shake Shack is OK but a bit greasy

I'm honestly not even tryna be sus. But five guys burger was amazing

It was just melt in your mouth quality. Maybe I'm eating it very high because I haven't had it in years because of pricing, but that shyt always used to hit more than any other restaurant

Had Shakeshack once and that was in Vegas. It took the #1 spot from 5 Guys, but only for 2 yrs. 5 Guys reclaimed their title this past November in Champaìgn:wow:

If you really wanna know how good a burger is, get as few condiments as possible. Some of yall be drownin' your burgers in condiments. You can make a leather boot taste good if you put all that bullshyt on it:pachaha:
