Their hosting plans are affordable and convenient.

if you're gonna use wordpress use godaddy's 12 month economy wordpress hosting, its $1 per month with a coupon you can find by googling, which beats out everything else. its what i use. downside is that it only lets you host 1 site but you can buy it multiple times. its more cost effective up to about 8 sites (8$ per month), after that its more cost effective to just use their more expensive packages that give you unlimited sites.

bluehost gets expensive after the promotion.
hostgator and godaddy are slow as shyt, and have ugly interfaces...also godaddy is always trying to upsell you on something, so you have to be extra vigilant lol

I'm on bluehost now, but I'll consider a cheaper alternative when the time comes
