I don't think Immobilarity and Beneath The Surface were bad albums at all. Then again I'm a huge Wu fan so:manny: The perception of those albums suffers from being follow-ups to 2 of the greatest Hip Hop albums ever made.

Yeah Baby! is my answer for biggest drop off. I was shocked by how weak that album was.

It was a very good album but not a classic. It's in the tier after his classics and the highest in that tier though.
Yup it's a good album but not "classic" as a project. I've noticed one of two problems when these discussions come up with the word "classic"

1. People are just taking good albums that are now old and refer to them as "classic" just because they are still good but now old.

Or

2. We might be over valuing the word "classic" a bit much here

Anyway...The Cool and Gods Son are just good, old albums imo. "Classic" is another level of prestige imo

Without repeating some the answers here...I'd say

Kanye's Graduation (which is not a classic, but a good 10yr old album) to 808s and Heartbreak was a major fall off.

I ain't really looked forward to a Ye album since that

Fresno, CA.
Snoop, Nas and Kendrick had the worst drop offs, but I’m going with Kendrick because snoops and Nas’s 1st albums set far too high a bar.

Oh and The Cool is a classic, y’all trippin:ufdup:
