Been waiting to see a legit match between these 2 since 2007. Their 2006 match don't count :stopitslime:
But their 2003 one does

Trying to think more outside the box considering the realistic big matches (and Austin vs Brock) were already mentioned....

-Tanahashi vs Cena would legit draw 40-50k in Japan if it's get the right kind of promotion, imo.

-I think a Shield reunion and tag match could draw big but there isn't a big enough threat for a big angle and match to happen. Like it would have to take a Balor Club or NXT invasion done like nothing WWE has ever done for it to really work. I don't think a Shield Triple Threat would draw big at this stage of the game tbh.

-A Jeff Hardy return match could draw if WWE fans still see him as a big deal. But there isn't a big opponent for him right now. I guess Seth Rollins but Seth was a dismal draw...maybe his own return will turn that situation around but who knows.

-Atlantis vs Brock with Atlantis mask on the line could be nuclear if booked right...I also think the plan D-Bry had for a hair vs mask match against Atlantis would've been HUGE too :mjcry:

It's kinda pathetic that there's so little drawing power in today's business

Shield Triple Threat would have been my other answer.

I still think the "right now" element of this scenario makes its Cena/Taker at Mania. Definitely fukked up not doing it with the streak still on the line. A stipulation like retirement may be able to make up for some of that.

:ohhh:

That would definitely make it feel gigantic again.

Cena vs Taker but the obvious one if we included the Rock would be Batista vs Rock by far.

Well, Batista isn't active, but since you brought him up...

That would definitely get a ton of mainstream media attention.

Also, Rock versus Batista is now DC versus Marvel....:whoo:

I wonder if they are even allowed to work with one another. If I was WB or Marvel I'd be tellin' both them cats that they can't job to the other....:birdman:

I'm actually going to say The Rock v. Austin or Brock. Both would be obvious rematches but The Rock is at the height of his mainstream popularity and the other two are still quite popular also.

Shield triple threat

Taker/Sting

Besides Rock, Cena and Brock the only 2 true megastars on the roster and Cena really ain't that popular outside of wrestling. And nobody wants to see Cena /Brock again, at least not for at least another 5 yrs.

If we talking one on ones now or within the next yr or so, Taker/Sting

ANY match? Shield triple threat
