I went from a cheap ass Samsung A7 to a pristine Samsung S8 right after boot camp.

shyt was crazy. I went from 8GB to 64GB. Little 19-year-old me was lit

So I pulled the trigger on this over the zen9 (more expensive with lil to no major upgrade) and s22 (no headphone jack is ). Also it has LineageOS support from what I hear so thats a plus. We'll see when it gets here

I typically don’t keep any hardware (phones/smartwatches) beyond about 2 years.

Those lithium ion batteries start to degrade and hardware starts to slow down.

The upgrades have been more incremental and negligible in more recent years.

I remember when I went to this Samsung slider phone to an iPhone 4 then an iPhone to to like a Samsung Galaxy S3. I thought that S3 was ground breaking at the time.

iPhone XS Max to IPhone 13 Mini

I need a small one hand phone with the latest upgrades and this 13 mini is it for me for at least 6 years

Love my mini, apple did a great job with this phone. Sucks it’s gotta last forever cuz apple isn’t making new minis as of now
