I swear after 911 the world got super cynical . Lots of listlessness, apathy and despair in this thread . I feel like society lost its enchantment with love, community, life and the good things a long time ago. No one wants commitment. No one wants to be devoted to something. Everyone wants options. Everyone wants convenience. Everyone wants to be a person in a digital, hopeless world .

Fear of vulnerability, commitment, opening up, etc, means I sabotage a lot of shyt. Not just romantic relationships, friendships, even family bonds... I’m so private and have so many walls up. So largely it’s self sabotage. The one breh that I’ve let in, as a friend, I do have feelings for, but there’s fear with that too, and based on a few circumstances with him, it’s not that feasible, right now anyway.
