What's the Coli's verdict of Shedeur this season? Should the Browns get a QB this offseason?

This is a discussion where you're probably not going to get too many people to change their views on Sanders, one way or another.

First, I think you have to remove Gabriel from the discussion for this topic when talking about the Browns needing to draft a QB. Whether you think Sanders played better than Gabriel or not won't have much relevance with what the Browns decide to do. I don't believe Sanders will be a long term NFL starter, but I do think he is clearly better than Gabriel when at their peaks.

The QB is far and away the most important position, so sometimes what people believe may be irrational decisions when drafting or signing a QB, it's not actually that irrational. Do the Browns believe Mendoza, Moore, Simpson, or whatever other top QB prospects there are, are a clear upgrade from Sanders and are future franchise QB's? I believe if they viewed those QB's like people viewed Caleb, Daniels, Maye, Trevor, Burrow, etc., then they would absolutely see if they could move up in the draft. I don't know if they will end up having the draft capital to do so, and if they make the move, then they'll have drafted three QB's in two years.

If I had to guess right now, I'd say they don't make a move for a QB, and either Sanders or Watson starts next season. Then they will evaluate and go from there, but I don't think they make a big move for a QB.

He has POTENTIAL to be a starter but take away his last name he's just above average,10 picks in 7 games is HORRENDOUS,he needs work like any other rookie,NO he's not better than Cam Ward either.

I don't see him starting next year at least not to begin with as I think Cleveland is most def gonna see what Deshaun Watson has left since he is still on that huge deal, they def gonna play the money first,Shedeur is a 5th round pick so he'll be waiting.

You cant draft 3 QBs in two years

If you believe there is a franchise QB in the draft that you can get, you absolutely do. And, the Browns only used a third and fifth round pick on Gabriel and Sanders.

The worst thing you can do is say, "We spent a two picks last year on QB's that we don't fully believe in, but we won't spend one on someone we believe may be a franchise QB".

GM not long for his job if he tryna convince the owner to have another training camp with 5 QBs

OL - WR/TE is the right call for their two picks next draft

I would draft a qb if im Cleveland. I don't think him or Gabriels are nfl qbs. I will say this though, i think someday sheduer will be a good qb coach/ oc if he wants too, he has a brilliant mind when it comes to breaking down film. He just doesnt have the physical tools.

If Browns could get a good oc I'd go for Malik Willis
