Yeah because Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson never smoked a joint.
The Beatles didn't drop acid.
The Rolling Stones, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Velvet Underground weren't on heroin.
Aerosmith wasn't on cocaine.

:beli:

Hold this 1 star, tho.
hold this neg hoe, has 0 validity or association with what I am talking about.

Drugs and music are heavily associated. We all know this. Whites did drugs, we know this.

We are talking about black culture. where our music is the most straightforward and raw of the artforms.

Whites did drugs and made musc about it, and under the influence but it was tastefully and creatively done.

This new era of hip-hop features an in your face, raw, animalistic element in the sense of aggression where there is little left to the imagination.

Weed, lean molly, are called out by name and add nothing to the song in an artistic way. It's just a cool add-in perhaps for credibility or image assocation.

It may be the healither of the drugs, but it's still much more pushed in our culture.

A lot of the new rappers don't glamorize.

Wale, drake, j cole and kendrick. Meek barely has smoking pics.

Your missing the point. Was cocaine, heroin, lsd etc allllll in the videos? Alllll in photoshoots? They werent as blatant with it. Its so forced and corny.
i gave this thread 5stars because as a smoker i'm advocating for natural, outdoor sunkissed weed (and dont abuse it). The sun gives life. Tryna make my coli brahs aware.

These genetically modified/govt pushed MMJ with 35% THC (or 55% THC wax) aint the same thing we was smoking 5-7 years ago. The CBD has been bred out, so the balance is gone. Anything this wicked govt/entertainment industry is heavily promoting, needs to be examined.

very true, and that's the 5%. Successful, mindful of the media. But even wale has come out and said on record he deal with drug problems. Cole just said it wasn't for him as it makes him paranoid and the same with kendrick, Meek was on probation a majority of the time.

None of them however, speak on their ideas of smoking, just that they aren't into it.

BUt I do commend them for being honest and not pushing that agenda. +rep

Genesis 1:29 ESV /
And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food.

See the bible confirms it ma nigs.
Indoor weed is usually seedless and unnatural. Get back on that God-blesed outdoor, natural-sunkissed weed.

True, but the you not really hearing Kendrick and J Cole on the radio, parties/clubs, bbqs, kick backs like that. The "bangers (young dolph, fetty wap, ot genesis, rich gang, wiz, wayne,)" all promote nonstop chainsmoking, molly, and lean. The youth more likely to listen to that when you at a kick back.

Why is it so glamourized?

It seems like every new rapper talks about smoking or has pictures of smoking, as if smoking is some thing you have to do to be a rapper.

Obviously not all of them enjoy it, numerically it wouldn't make sense for all rappers to be weed smokers.

Better than talking about the true poison Alcohol and ciggawets.

Eh depends on how you look at it. I agree it's healthier in a phsyical sense, but i like drinking music.

:yeshrug: there's only one occasion, and that's turn up times when the music comes up. The weed drops have iniltrated every type of music. Conscious, turn up, chill/ambient, rnb. Theres no escaping. What relaluy irks me is it's extended into the women crowd. Now the new women artists talk about it as much as the men. Just a bad look.
