He's still young enough to be in the league and hasn't even been out for 2 whole years yet. He's still got a decent chance. Pros have been called back for different circumstances in the past, he just has to stay in shape.
I'm sure it's a lot of those dudes in the G-League doing odd jobs while keeping their NBA dreams alive and he wouldn't be the exception to that. Fortunately for him, he's made millions more compared to those G-League athletes.
You're just going to be hard pressed finding many people feeling sympathy for a millionaire.
