What’s the difference between FBA and ADOS?

There's ADOS, FBA, and #ADOS.

ADOS and FBA are the same thing; they refer only to lineage and nothing else. #ADOS is a political movement/organization. FBA is used to clearly differentiate the lineage from the movement.

The FBA Conference is about lineage, culture, history and how those things affect the current social and political situation. Basically how FBA got to where it is today.

The #ADOS Conference was and is about political organizing. Basically how to get from the current situation to where FBA should be politically.
Then what’s the problem with two groups representative of black interests (aa) coexisting at the same time, what’s up with the “competing” term being thrown around? They can’t be mutually exclusive of each other but work for the mutual benefit of the community, in order to push and serve common interests? There’s so much conflict. Smh, leading to a Lack of clarity and cohesion.

Lack of communication and clearly miscommunication. All 3 of them have been moving in a sloppy way as of late.

In case anyone is wondering, my previous post is based on what Yvette, Tone, and Tariq has said about their respective movements.

After hearing both sides I got if now

ADOS- lineage and group who understands that being political active is necessary to get reparations

FBA- organization that deals with the lineage and culture part of adios but doesn't want to be framed as a political group. Asking for tangibles is the only political move this organization will do

I this correct??

This is disheartening. For real. I guess that NYT article got the intended results.

Damn. Now that you've said it. That was probably the whole point. :francis:

I need to look into those journalism classes that teach you how to spot bullshyt and smears. :ohhh:
Both of their platforms spend time and time again talking about mainstream media, addressing private issues behind closed doors, but fail to catch the bait that's thrown at both of them in the form of a NYT "thinkpiece". Look at who has ownership and sponsorship stake in the New York Times and pieces start getting put together.

Not a coincidence that both ADOS and FBA were gaining national attention, credibility and leverage; at the height of the momentum the mud slinging and dirt calls start off the instigation within the article. The distraction and infighting begins shifting the focus. Now all the doubt and uncertainty calling into question the validity of both movements along with the personal attacks and counter narratives. Looking sketch rn. Never let your enemies see your weakness because they will exploit it. Instead of handling this behind the scenes as a closed door matter, the real enemy is seeing the cracks on the surface. Both platforms need to get back to business bc they both have valid points.

I need to read Neely Fuller's book. The title was floating around in another thread. But it seems that neither party has either understood the book in its entirety or they've learned nothing from the civil rights groups from the past.

Can't talk about white supremacy and then fall for the oldest trick in the book at the 1st opportunity.

lol. word. Now both sides are calling each other "agents" and "agent of chaos and dissension" while there is a real sleeper agent watching, observing and not being vocal at all.

Not even a sleeper. They in plain sight and has been coming at them the whole time. This whole thing is disappointing. They're not ready primetime because of side-fukkery. They're not for primetime because they can't see tricks being played on them in full view right in front of them.

Most importantly, the FBA conference is about Black Economic Empowerment.
