What's the difference between this Heat team and those Cavs teams?

All the shytting on the Heat, meanwhile Indy was the best defensive team in the NBA......oh and the matchup perfectly exploits the Heats one weakness....

Oh another thing too.....Miami is settling for too many jump shots. Wade and Jesus actually didnt look bad when they took it to the basket, problem is they either cant or havent done enough of it.

Shut down Tony Parker and its a wrap. Sure the Spurs have the IQ and the veterans, but the PG matchup is really the only position the Spurs are clearly better then either MIA or INDY

Fact of the matter is.....whoever comes out of this Eastern Conference Final is gonna win the chip

:beli: pacers cant beat the spurs breh ..their advantage on the inside would be gone vs the spurs..it would be a repeat of the grizzlies series...and duncan>anything the heat have inside...but yea spurs vs heat will be much more competitive than spurs vs pacers..I give the heat the advantage right now though because of home-court and the fact that the spurs will probably lose game 1 due to too much rest and being rusty..similar to heat vs bulls game 1 :yeshrug:

I was mainly referring to role players like Battier and Allen who have just not been able to hit shots AT ALL this series. Them two are a lot better shooters than anyone on those cavs teams, they just havent been hitting this series (and kinda all playoffs even though they didnt really need to hit those against MIL and CHI).

Wade and Bosh are whole 'nother story. Wades reason for lack of production is a bit unknown right now, and although some of it can definitely be attributed to him getting older and losing speed, my guess is his injury is a lot worse than the team is letting on and he gets some more surgery in the offseason.

As for Bosh, I blame his lack of production on the Pacers D, him not being aggressive enough, and on poor game planning by Spoelstra. They're gonna need to make a concerted effort to get Bosh involved in the offense early if they wanna beat the Spurs.

Overall though, even though the production isn't matching the potential, this Heat team >>>> any team the Cavs had.

Indy closes out on perimeter shooters better then anyone else, This isnt surprising. The problem is everyone is settling for jumpers....

What pg do the Heat have to shut down Parker? What SF is out there that will stop LeBron?

Hibbert and West> Duncan & Tiago Splitter.

Yeah Duncans a savy vet, but Indy has a bit of an athletic edge. Paul George on either Parker or Ginobli.....we just agree to disagree.

Whoever the Spurs play....Kawhi Leonard to me will be the X-factor.

Doesn't have to be a PG guarding Parker.....guaranteed Lebron will see some time defending Parker, but it will probably be a mixed bag. Cole does have the speed to keep up with Parker, but Parkers lateral movement and ability to stop on a dime :damn:

The major difference is that even a hobbled Wade can create offense for himself better than anyone on those Cavs teams.

Outside of tonight he's been efficient but not really highly productive for a guy if his caliber so maybe it is the injuries. I remember you and me talking about his regression last season. I don't know what the fukk it is with that dude anymore.

And I'm sorry but Bosh needs to be at the top of the key or the high post. No further out than that. He could easily mix it up from that range.

Ain't shyt changed cause the system is the same :manny: Bron is the first, second, and third option out there, I'm not sure what cats is expecting. You take a scoring big man and make him into a spot shooter Bron can outlet to if need be, and take a great perimeter player and shove him in the corner to make him into a jump shooter you'll get what you asking for.

Heat just need to be happy that Bron has gotten that much better that it doesn't even matter how shytty they treat everybody around him. Because this is the same LeBron system they were running in Cleveland and the results were different
