What's the Difference Between...

Someone who genuinely wants to share good news and those who just want to brag?



Before I post something online, I ask myself the following questions:

1) Are you trying to show off?

If I answer no to that, then I ask myself:

2) What's the purpose then? Why don't you just pick up a phone and tell those closest to you. Why do you need a public announcement?

If.. by this point, my soul is still adamant about posting the info.. I ask myself:

3) Are you alive to serve the Lord and please Him, or are you out there trying to gain struggle 'likes' from human beings who deep down don't really care about your business/life?



.If that doesn't work.. I ask myself one more thing:

4) Would you talk about your house with the homeless? Would you mention money amongst the penniless? Would you talk about food with the hungry? Would you talk about your job with the jobless?

That's when.. I choose to erase my message, and instead quietly thank the Lord for my blessings.

Forums don't count, simply because I'm posting anonymously.

To get 'daps' or 'likes' in a world where we are all just fonts, writing on a screen, isn't the same as a post with a real name, a real picture, and overall a very real identity!
