Dunno where you live at but theres a road in Maryland called I4 thats nothing but a wide ass 6 lane highway and long straightaways...perfect for testing out your top speed. Can Maryland folks confirm, i just shoot thru there sometimes on my way to DC.

I always get jammed up in dc, but never maryland...i regularly break the speed limit on 95 and thereabouts going down there.

I went to an Andretti Indy car experience this weekend. I sat in a two-seat Indy-ish car and the driver took three laps around, I sat in the back. I don't know how fast we were going but we were definitely cooking around the track. He went around 3 times. Right from the first turn in the acceleration lane out of pit row, I could feel the G-force. Then, the dude accelerates up onto the track and to the first turn and I felt we were going straight into the wall. He turns the car along with the banked track like it was nothing to him. These cars have a ton of grip and a ton of braking power. I'm sure he was going about 75% to 80% from full potential. No one has died yet so I'm guessing he's holding back a bit for safety reasons. I didn't get a turbo-ish acceleration feel even though it was fast, but the turns were where you felt like you were going to crash if the tires broke loose.

You needed to balance your wheels. The minor imbalances are not as noticeable at lower speeds.
