I fully understand why the average cat likes Tekken over VF, its easier to grasp and has more flair

Part of the reason fighting games are popular is because they are casual friendly and fun can be had by just pickin up and playing (unlike a real time strategy game or some shyt). VF don't fit that mold so dudes drop it quick, say its boring, too technical, too slow, etc etc.

When you take the time to learn the ins and outs, you'd see how incredible the series is

Virtua Fighter was the OG, Tekken was the wanna be. They are two totally different games.
