let's take less than 3 years beat shall we ? we want to discover new gems
i would say
hard as in dope, what you are describing ALC hasn't made since the early to mid aughts, the shyt he gave to EV, Nas, Mobb Deep, etc. IMO.I fukk with every beat in here, but most of the shyt in here is not at all what I think of when I read "hardest." Especially the original post. Hard makes me think like, hard hitting, head nodding anthem type beat.
With that in mind, the first thing I thought of was the beat switch on Double Hockey Sticks. Steel Wool and Brickmile To Montana as well. Bo Jackson had a few hard ass beats. Frank Lucas, Mack 10 Wounds, Scottie Pippen, etc. I fukk with his drumless beats too, but them shyts ain't hard to me.
I still think he's got bangers. But there's definitely a lot more variety in sound overall and less traditional joints.hard as in dope, what you are describing ALC hasn't made since the early to mid aughts, the shyt he gave to EV, Nas, Mobb Deep, etc. IMO.
He still makes 'banger' type hard beats, but the BPM is just so much lower nowadays. Everything is a slow crawl now.hard as in dope, what you are describing ALC hasn't made since the early to mid aughts, the shyt he gave to EV, Nas, Mobb Deep, etc. IMO.
yeah but I like those beats I described earlier, they KNOCK with a system.I still think he's got bangers. But there's definitely a lot more variety in sound overall and less traditional joints.
But especially when he links with Boldy or Benny or Conway I feel like I get harder beats in the traditional sense.
