Amex platinum.

It’s a charge card rather than a credit card.. limit is tied to gross income.

I’ve charged a brand new car to it without a phone call from them so I’m safe at 30k, I guess.

they invited me to an option to use mine as a regular credit card instead of a charge card so i can carry a balance now, but the wifee didnt get the invite, i was wondering how they selected certain individuals for this option this year.

I did too but I hate carrying a balance and the dude I was talking to was talking in circles about whether or not my perks would be affected since I travel a lot. Access to those sky lounges and clubs save the day especially if you get delayed..

Like 12k I think

Should never have increased it. Just convinces you to spend more knowing you got a higher limit.

Stop with this inaccurate way of thinking

a higher limit lowers your credit utilization, which is a factor in calculating your credit score

just bc your credit limit increases by $3k doesn't mean you have $3k more dollars to spend

don't ever spend more than 1/10 of your credit limit

$2500

Yall making me feel broke :francis:
There’s nothing wrong with not having too much potential debt breh :heh:. Just work on the one you have and build it up. If they keep bullshytting then kick them to the bushes and find another card.

I keep seeing people say they don't use their CC

nobody is on the points wave in here?
Just got on it. Got a southwest card and use it for everything. Pay it towards it at the end of each week tho. It has a 6k limit but I never let it get above ~$700

I have the Platinum so it says I have no preset limit . Most I ever spend on it was 13k at once. I’m only 27 years old tho.

on my everyday blue credit card my limit is 25k

Discover 5k (first card in college)

Fam my moms taught me if you don’t have in the bank what your credit card limit is then don’t spend no more than 25% of your credit limit...

Illest advise I ever got.. when I first got my card it was $2500, this was in college and I was only rockin $800 in my bank account. Only used my card to fill up my gas tank and nothing else.. paid that shyt back every month until I got a real job.

I mean, it isn’t like they had a limit to really work with :mjlol:.
Usually you graduate from the baby cards. These dudes maxed em out and never paid them off. The limit is $300 the debt is $XXXX. Credit shot and over since sneakers you wanted when you were 20

Being 27 and having platinum is excellent.

Once you get to 350k spent, you get offered the Black card.
