Author had to have deliberately stretched the story to be that long. Just so he could say he wrote a book that long.

I read it in either the 4th or 5th grade, so indont remember much. But it was basically ripping off star wars and lotr with no shame:mjlol:

I read "It" years ago , i think it was like 700 + pages definitely the longest book i ever read.

It takes Stephen King forever to get to the point. He does that in the Stand, Dreamcatcher, Desperation , and It....it's ridiculous! His newer books have been shorter though.

didnt the author write that series when he was a teen/in his early 20s?
