Reclaiming history by Vincent bugliosi was something like 2600 pages :mjlol:
He was still adding material but the publishers were running out of trees
So 1600 of it is hard cover and the other 1000 is on a Cd-Rom :mjcry:

People found it too long , so he "summarized" things and later published four days in november (abridged)
This "quick" version was a mere 688 pages which was criticized for glossing over too many details and being too light:troll:

And he always wrote his books long hand - to be transcribed by a faithful assistant :flabbynsick:
There were pictures of him sitting there with a legal pad.. Like 'okay, lets stsrt at the beginning.. Second draft, Chapter 1!"

I'm averaging 1 book every 2 days now. Roughly 500 pages.
:picard: 500 wtf are you reading...

If I read an ebook my monitor I can finish it in roughly in a 1 1/2 day. But with my phone it takes 2-3 days.

The hardest part is that I struggle with consistency.

I've been working on smashing 5-7 books a month. :lift:

I know someone will top this by saying they read 30 books, with 500+ pages, a month. :beli:

A little bit of everything fiction and nonfiction. I haven't worked in months and wont for a few more years so I see this as an opportunity to catch up on reading I was too busy for. I read faster on my kindle, dont even try on my phone. I use the kindle sporadically but I love having the feel of a book in my hand and it helps expand my library if I buy the books.

Can someone link me a really good and ongoing book thread on here?

I just came from Barnes and Nobles and bought:

Don Quixote
Roots
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
The Girl Who Played with Fire
The Betrayal

I only went there for Don Quixote:francis:
