A while. There's two girls I still til this day appreciate talking to in small doses. Not saying I haven't been out there, but I appreciate certain moments a lot that I foolishly try to recreate. Then I remember how much I despise them, then I'm good for a year.

I have one ex I'm still not over for some reason. We made a great couple and could have done big things together but she couldn't see my vision.
Depends on the definition of "over it". The longest I've been in my feelings about it is like a year, but as far as how breakup experiences have changed me as a person, that shyt is probably for life.

She broke up with me over the summer and didn't give me a reason why. She then proceeded to toy with my emotions and made sure to keep girls away from me just so I would continue to chase her. I would almost move on and she would come out of nowhere. I remember she legit pulled a girl aside I was talking to, the next day the girl just straight up said I can't date you.
For five years.
I watched as she would date my friends, everyone would tell me her shyt (even if I didn't want to know) and yet I still had some dumb ass semblance of hope.
Then when I graduated from High School, she text me a pic of myself when I was in fifth grade.
Shes like "Aww you were always so cute"
I replied "Go to hell"

A year and a half...spent a lot of time on her emotionally over the years. It definitely stung the first few months; it was the closest I would say I was to being depressed. Keeping myself occupied with other things and meeting new people eventually helped the healing process. Sometimes it hurts when she hits me up randomly or tries to work it out, but she had her chance
