On the way there I was asleep for most of the time so I dont really remember. However, coming back I was up for most of the time and we hardly stopped except for gas. We had a lot of food in the car (well, we rented a SUV) so not many food stops, just restroom breaks. I was lucky enough to be with people who love driving, so I only drove like 2 - 3 hrs altogether. I dont think I could do a trip like that alone.how many stops?
16 hours. Austin to Destin FL for Spring break...couple of stops Houston, Baton Rouge, Mobile for food/gas/stretching.
16 hrs. Spring break...MD to Panama City Florida. I didnt drive though but we had 4 drivers, 6 ppl total
Didn't know you rode that far to PCB. When I went in March, my homeboys picked me up from Hartsfield Jackson Airport in ATL . Took 4 hours. I did the trip from Essex county to Colorado. Left Wed. evening and got to Denver Saturday afternoon. Drove thru PA,OH,IA, IL, IN,Wisconsin, Nebraska to CO. I only stopped to piss, fillup, fukk and sleep a few hrs in Indiana Came back I went up to Wyoming, South Dakota and then came back down. I truly appreciated the beauty of this country and its vastness. Drove an SUV with a carrier on top. I wouldnt do that long of journey again. Trips to NC, VA and GA are considered small and routine compared to what I didam about to do 18-22 hours next week, from the Midwest to the east coast , in a rental chevy cruze , chose this car cause ive rented it before and its comfortable and for its size/options gets the best gas mileage. Doing the trip straight no major stops except to use the bathroom & gas up
Ill be driving through : Iowa,Illinois,Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey
anybody ever take a trip like ? tips?

When I was 5, my mom took me and my sister drove from San Diego to Clear Lake before back to Sac, 12 hours total . Can't count the trip down to So Cal cause she made a lot of stops, (Modesto, Anaheim (Disneyland), San Diego (family)

I've been to California(LA/Gardena) and Virgina(Richmond/Chesterfield) from Oklahoma.....
The California trip was the longest and I'll never do it again.... Virginia was the most miserable because it was 10 people in a 7 passenger van plus luggage...

Dawg, I drove an SUV with a Hemi, I figured I dropped about $600 on gas at leasthow much you spent on gas, am bout to drop over $300 on gas alone
