What's the longest you've gone without a job?

6 months back in 2006 and that shyt sucked. Was cutting grass at my aunts rental properties for 30 dollars a pop.

Well after school I went about four years bc you can't get a job with a psych undergrad degree and I wasn't ready for grad school yet. During that time I was also getting certified. I worked a temporary job for the past two years, I'm unemployed again now, but I go into grad school in the fall and basically it says on the forms that you cannot have a job due to all the work and the internship. You actually have to sign a form that says you will not get a job during the time you're in school. So.. I'll be working unpaid for two years while in grad school.

When I graduated from school in 09, I got a year later to the day.

4 year degree get your foot automatically in the door, huh.

6 months. It was by choice as i was trying to finish college. Resigned my job and lived off my savings and money i made from the stock market investments I made

About 7-8 months. But even during that time I was still getting some short term shytty temp jobs.

I've gotten at least 1 paycheck every year of my life since I was 14.

I'm not built to be unemployed or not have a means of earning money...

Was unemployed for like 9 months back in 07 when the mortgage bubble started to pop. A nikka still had dough though from selling my asscrack on craigslist. I ain't ashamed to get down and dirty for the almighty dollar.

Probably about 8 months is the longest I've been unemployed, that was during college.

I remember from age 1 through 16, I couldn't even get a single interview let alone call back. Those were real hard times. I couldn't feed my dog all the fillets and scooby snacks he wanted. I felt like a failure.

Almost a year. I graduated from college in May '07 and didn't secure a job until March '08.

I'm coming up on 6 months right now without a full-time job. I did have a temp job from mid-Jan. through early-Feb. and got a couple of temp opportunities next month.

I need that full-time job though.
