Turned 24 this year and I feel it comingnot physique wise bc I’m still in the gym but social circle.

Almost everyone is getting married and they got kids. My breh from work had a cookout and it was kids everywhere, no single ladies, only married couples. Which is coolbut still

I can feel my fate coming sooner than laterthey asking when you gon get married. “This gon be you in a couple years” as they running around the pool chasing the lil ones.

I love the kids but idk yoi call the brehs in HS now “lil homies”. When’s that age when you just said Fck it and transitioned from a young Nikka to anikka

I feel it but I’m talking about the natural progression. Before, we was young Nikkas and we was on some wild shyt. Going to Miami and Atlanta to Fck bytches. Now Nikkas settled down and got whole families

They’re about 5-8 plus years older but I can feel it coming

I'd say 40 for most people in general. We get a few extra years than other races because of black don't crack but it's all for nothing if we don't stay in shape or off drugs before then.

It's the truth though. I'm not saying I didn't have friends as a kid but all kids have friends...as you get older we develop social awareness and socializing (for some) becomes harder. A couple months away from 25 I don't regularly see or speak to any friends I've had because we don't really share common interests and I'm not hunting for new friends as a grown ass man.

My "time coming" is;
Putting my foot in this last music project, only to be heard by those who want it.
Join my uncle and cousins at the Port.
Get my own apartment and 3-5 year old whip till I'm ready for the headache of a house.

Ain't no shine coming...just survival. But I appreciate the positivity.
