I learned that not everyone is going to have the same level of self-awareness as you and won't always see criticism as a place to grow from. Sometimes letting things go and sparing someones feelings is better than trying to convince them you're right even if you are.

I'm just as stubborn as the stubbornness I love to point out in people but I defend it because I'll be the first to admit I'm wrong when I'm proved wrong. There's fighting for your beliefs and then theres just trying to look like you know everything and i often fall on the latter.

Don't sacrifice yourself to others and the expense of your happiness.
